You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge checks, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and customer-focused professionalism. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, and the exterior perimeter, noting hazards, unsecured doors, and unusual activity.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor and employee entry by observing for proper credentials, directing guests, and documenting arrivals and departures per site policy.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol activity, and observations, and communicate shift updates to Allied Universal supervision and the client representative.
