As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support access points with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications per post orders and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials as directed, managing entry and/or exit logs, and screening deliveries and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete detailed written reports and shift activity logs, and promptly report unusual conditions such as spills, leaks, odors, alarms, damaged fencing, or unauthorized persons to the appropriate contacts.
