Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a tech, media, and telecom location, where you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document activity, support access control points, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors while delivering service with integrity. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, lobbies, corridors, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and report irregularities such as unauthorized entries, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Complete detailed reports and shift logs, including patrol activity, incident observations, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership as needed.
