About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Patrol in Orovada, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer in a primarily driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns through required channels.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, staging yards, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by checking credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and/or verifying deliveries per site procedures.
- Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.
