Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist guests and team members with a calm, service-focused approach. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out established security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales floors, back-of-house areas, receiving docks, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help manage access control, support loss prevention efforts, and/or assist with crowd and line management during peak shopping periods.
• Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and alarms as assigned, report suspicious activity, and complete shift activity reports according to post orders.
