Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Assist in responding to incidents and critical situations at financial institution locations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.
Collaborate with other security-related personnel and property management staff to address issues as they arise.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
