Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Clearance Required in Huntsville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, assist employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements
- Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with any security-related needs on site.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and helping to deter potential security-related issues.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
- Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees, assisting with access control and providing information as needed.
- Support Allied Universal management and site leadership by reporting any security-related concerns or hazards identified during patrols.
- Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols specific to the location.
