Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and support a secure environment for all personnel. Requirements
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, particularly in an aerospace and defense setting.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
- Assist with access control processes, including verifying identification and monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
- Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and client staff to help to maintain a secure environment in accordance with site-specific requirements.
