As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a chemical and petrochemical location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols in assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof as required by the client.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical or petrochemical environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for chemical or petrochemical locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns specific to chemical or petrochemical operations.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, hazards, or suspicious activity, and report findings according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and support emergency response efforts as required.
