As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and personnel, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting site operations as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel, including any potential hazards identified during patrols.
- Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
- Support Allied Universal and client staff by maintaining a visible presence and serving as a resource for security-related matters.
