Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location where you will patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will provide courteous customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and document observations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supporting mobile patrols and rapid response across the property. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors and/or vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies and post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and assist with visitor management, including verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials as directed and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from emergency services and/or site management when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents and observations in written and/or electronic reports and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
