You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents while providing strong customer service and clear communication. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, collaborate across the site, and act with integrity on every shift.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech-focused office and/or data center location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling access concerns, disturbances, and/or medical situations and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter points, looking for conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor and document access control activity, including checking identification, confirming visitor authorization, maintaining visitor logs, and directing people to approved routes and/or sign-in procedures.
• Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs, document unusual observations, follow post orders, and communicate updates to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
