About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Bank Patrols in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations on site in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter unwanted activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution's premises and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and addressing concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
Document and report incidents, observations, and any unusual circumstances to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
Support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients by maintaining a professional presence during patrols and interactions.
