Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Auto Patrol in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated auto industry locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a secure environment, while your communication skills and professionalism will support a positive experience for all individuals on site. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid skills are preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location.
Maintain a visible presence to help promote a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, client personnel, and/or visitors as required.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
