As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will document observations, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity, in a culture that puts people first.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, documentation, and timely communication with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter, checking doors, access points, and high-traffic areas to help identify unusual activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, assist with access control as assigned, and help to discourage unauthorized access and/or loitering near sensitive areas such as entrances, ATM areas, and parking areas.
• Complete detailed shift activity logs and incident reports, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and information according to site procedures.
