Security Officer - Unarmed Aero/Defense Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Aero/Defense Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated aerospace and defense locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and uphold a professional environment. You will conduct regular patrols, manage access control, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating with staff and visitors. Requirements
- Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
- Monitor for any unusual activity or conditions, and report findings as required by site policies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrolling activities, incidents, and interactions as directed by Allied Universal and the site leadership.
- Support access control measures by verifying identification and/or credentials as required for individuals entering restricted areas.
- Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address any security-related concerns or requests.
