About The Position

Advantage Security, Inc. (ASI) has provided both security and customer service to its clients for over 29 years in the Denver and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking exceptional candidates for full-time Security Officer positions in the Denver area, who currently have a Security Guard License through the City and County of Denver.

Requirements

• Must have a CURRENT SECURITY GUARD LICENSE IN DENVER.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• US citizenship or possess the right to work permit.
• Able to pass a drug screen test and background check (including THC).
• Fluently speak, read, and write English.
• Able to obtain a Security Guard License.
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office experience a plus).

Nice To Haves

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous security, military, and/or law enforcement experience a plus but not required.
• Ability to remain calm and focused.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and controlling the access of employees, visitors, and contractors to various client-owned buildings.
• Advising and escorting individuals into spaces.
• Maintaining security records and reports during shifts.
• Protecting property and individuals against security threats.
• Avoiding hazardous situations and preserving order at designated properties.

Benefits

• Hourly compensation: $22.00 at most sites.
• $200 BONUS for having a current Security Guard License through the City and County of Denver (must work in Denver to obtain bonus).
