Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify identification and/or access permissions, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and communication protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gates, checkpoints, and perimeter, noting security-related concerns and documenting observations according to site procedures.
Assist with visitor processing, vehicle and/or delivery access coordination, and log keeping to help support orderly operations at a transportation-related location.
