As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for personnel, visitors, and property.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the auto facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any irregularities.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and provide directions or information as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations at the location.
