About The Position

As a Security Officer Truck Gate in New Holland, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, review visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and/or office areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to gates, loading areas, employee entrances, and other access-controlled points where conditions may vary by location.
Support daily operations by screening deliveries, directing contractors and/or guests, and maintaining accurate access records in alignment with site procedures and food and beverage location requirements.
