Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
Monitor access points, screen visitors, issue badges and/or temporary credentials, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including support during emergency response activities and communication with appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, observing for maintenance concerns, unauthorized access, and other security-related issues within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation related to access control, visitor management, patrol activity, and other assigned security-related duties.
