Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
Perform identification and verification checks for individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with questions related to access control and site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document all access control activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.
Follow all site-specific policies and procedures relevant to the food and beverage industry to maintain compliance and support operational requirements.
