About The Position

As a Security Officer Truck Gate in Denver, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Distribution Centers, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy Distribution Center where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and perform routine patrols to help support a secure and welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
Monitor access points and help manage entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, authorizations, deliveries, and/or visitor information in accordance with site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, entrance areas, receiving zones, and perimeter, remaining aware of unusual activity and/or conditions that could impact daily operations.
Support loss prevention and store operations by reporting suspicious behavior, assisting with crowd and queue monitoring, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
