As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, assist with managing access points, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence will support a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service to everyone onsite. This role offers the opportunity to use your access control and alarm panel experience, while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the facility.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to support site policies.
Provide customer service by delivering information and assistance to visitors, employees, and vendors as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
Document observations and activities in daily logs and incident reports as required by site procedures.
Support emergency response activities in accordance with client and Allied Universal guidelines.
Conduct routine and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with consideration for the location's operational needs.
