As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and complete reports using site systems. You will remain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols as needed, and support a smooth flow of people and deliveries while providing strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Operate an access control post by verifying identification and authorization for facility entry, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and directing traffic flow to appropriate check-in areas.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, report irregular activity, and communicate with site contacts and/or dispatch to support a controlled entry process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access disputes, unauthorized entry attempts, and medical or fire-related situations when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading dock approaches, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access, identify hazards, and document conditions per site procedures.
