As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, managing badge systems, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations as required for entry into designated areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns unique to the food and beverage environment.
