About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Unarmed Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Willingness to work in environments with limited on-site facilities, such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks, is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Work closely with Allied Universal management and site personnel to support security-related needs and maintain a professional presence.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as required by site protocols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with access control and general inquiries while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
