About The Position

As a Security Officer - Transportation Patrol in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol transportation locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Requirements

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns in and around the transportation facility.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site policies.
  • Assist with emergency response protocols, including evacuations and incident reporting, as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by site procedures.
