Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic commercial real estate location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, manage access control, and provide outstanding customer service, all while embodying our company values of agility, reliability, and integrity through teamwork and a people-first approach.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious behavior in and around the premises.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Follow all site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and location management.
