Job Description As a Security Officer - Transit Facility Patrol in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a major transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain clear communication. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the transportation location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activity encountered during patrols within the transportation environment.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or travelers, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
