Job Description As a Security Officer - Transit Facility Patrol in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a major transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain clear communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the transportation location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activity encountered during patrols within the transportation environment.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or travelers, providing assistance and information as needed.
Document all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
