Job Description As a Security Officer - Government Facility Patrols in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, support a welcoming environment, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Handcuffing certification is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or access.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences during assigned shifts.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff at the location.
Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
