About The Position
As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Lead in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Baton certification is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards during patrols and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed.
- Support Allied Universal in maintaining a professional presence at the location while upholding the highest standards of security-related service.
