Security Officer - Telecom Unarmed Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Telecom Unarmed Patrol Driver in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will remain visible throughout the premises, provide outstanding customer service, and use your communication skills to support a positive experience for everyone on-site. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you conduct your patrols across the property.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and/or unusual observations while on duty.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions or provide assistance.
- Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local contacts to support security-related needs at the location.
