Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond to situations as needed, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation to support a welcoming environment for all.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting clients, visitors, and employees at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence at the location.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related matters promptly and professionally.
Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
