Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. By conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible, you play a key role in supporting a secure environment. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor the location for unusual activity and report any observations in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
Support access control procedures by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site guidelines.
Assist with incident documentation and reporting, maintaining accurate records of occurrences and actions taken.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and maintain a visible presence within the location.
