About The Position

As a Security Officer - Telecom Entry Screener in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence and attention to detail will help create a secure environment, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication will enhance the overall experience for everyone onsite. Requirements

  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and screening individuals as required to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and site staff to support a secure environment within a tech, media, and telecom setting.
