About The Position

As a Security Officer - Telecom Campus Patrol in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials and reporting any suspicious activity in accordance with site guidelines.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and vendors to deliver assistance and relay important information regarding security-related matters.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in a timely and accurate manner to support site operations and compliance requirements.
