Security Officer - Technology Driving Patrol Full-Time
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Technology Driving Patrol Full-Time in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service while monitoring assigned areas, supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors. Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential risks.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors and employees with directions or information as requested, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
- Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations as necessary.
- Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or security-related concerns clearly and promptly.
