As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology and media location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the site. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for anything unusual.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or activity.
• Document and communicate incidents, observations, and/or irregularities to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and client representatives as required.
• Assist with security-related tasks such as visitor management, badge checks, and enforcing site policies.
• Remain alert and attentive while on patrol to help to deter potential threats to the location's operations.
