As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a dynamic tech and media environment, you will play a vital role in access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and support the integrity of the location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches at the location.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access control procedures and answering inquiries.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related tasks.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of access control activities and any incidents that occur.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.
