As an Allied Universal Screener at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will greet team members and visitors, conduct entry screening, verify credentials, and support security-related access processes with clear communication and customer service. You will stay visible, document observations, and partner with site teams to help identify concerns early. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific, security-related procedures and access requirements at a tech-focused location.
  • Screen people, bags, and deliveries at designated entry points using approved methods and screening equipment, and communicate entry decisions in a respectful, service-oriented manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders per post orders.
  • Complete required documentation such as logs, screening records, and incident reports, and relay key information during shift changes.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas and perimeter when directed, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
