About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Patrol Weekdays in Holtsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and work collaboratively with our team, reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the location, documenting all incidents according to established protocols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related concerns and maintain open lines of communication.
Assist with access control measures at entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the location.
Support emergency response procedures as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when necessary.
