Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.26 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 04:30 PM - 11:30 PM Sun 04:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, which may include offices, data centers, and media facilities.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees at the location.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incidents and activities during the shift.
