Job Description As a Security Officer - Tech Patrol Driver Weekdays in Alpharetta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and customer-focused support. You will document observations, report concerns, and collaborate with onsite teams. Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- CPR Certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access control concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, manage visitor sign-in, and report access control issues according to site-specific policies.
- Complete routine logs and incident reports, communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision, and support client guidelines for after-hours activity and/or deliveries.
