Job Description As a Security Officer - Tech Park Patrol in Charleston, WV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence throughout the site. You will conduct routine patrols, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate professionally with visitors and staff. Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any actions taken during the shift.
Communicate clearly and courteously with staff, visitors, and/or vendors as required while upholding site protocols.
Remain alert and attentive to changes in the environment, technology, or media equipment that may impact security-related procedures.
