As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and contribute to a secure environment. Your routine patrols and visible presence will support a positive atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills will help create a welcoming experience for everyone on site. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities or potential threats in a technology-focused location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the location.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants.
