About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Media Screener in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related screening procedures for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific policies for a technology-focused location.
Provide customer service by assisting clients and visitors, addressing inquiries, and communicating site rules and procedures in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, adapting to the unique environment of a tech/media/telecom location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and maintaining logs as required by site-specific requirements.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures for the location.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
