About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Media Screener in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling access, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with individuals entering the location, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation while contributing to a secure and welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and screen all individuals entering the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.
Follow established security-related procedures and protocols tailored to a technology-focused environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by answering questions and addressing concerns related to security-related matters.
Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
