As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrols Full Time in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a leading tech environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the location. You will interact with employees and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access within a technology-focused environment.
- Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, providing assistance and directions as appropriate.
- Document observations and incidents accurately, providing detailed reports to Allied Universal management as required.
- Support emergency response activities in accordance with client and Allied Universal protocols.
