Job Description As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrols Full-Time in Sunnyvale, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and telecom location. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
Report and document any irregularities or suspicious activities according to company procedures.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
